… and Things that I am Overlooking[tm].

I have never gone out of my way to get contract work; it usually just falls into my lap or occurs through word-of-mouth. After all, I already work FT. I don’t need a plethora of extra work, nor do I have time for it. If it is uninteresting, it’s also quite probable that I will turn it down as I see no point in working ridiculous hours unless it’s fun.

In saying this, it still stands to reason that I would benefit by having my LinkedIn profile updated. I don’t intend to use it to seek employment, but I’m sure there would be (future) benefit to keeping myself up-to-date in a world that is not FaceBook or Twitter.

I suppose this action item will make one of my weekly TODO lists.
